First Friday FAQs

How do I become a vendor at First Fridays?

Participants are encouraged to set up exhibits and host games and other interactive features to attract people to their booth where you can provide information about your product or service, give away samples, and take contact information.  Vendors see Farmers Market Information below (to sell items, food, etc.)

On rare occasions, we do allow participants to sell their wares, but they are specifically identified by event.

Non-profits  are only allowed to sell tickets or host any other type of fund raisers with specific permission, given to them by our executive director.

For more information about participating in First Fridays, please see “First Friday Guidelines.”

How do I become a vendor at other Downtown Events?

Other DLP events include Thursday Squared Food Truck Rallies, and the Holiday Walkabout. Generally, we do not accept vendors or booths at the Food Truck Rally or the Walkabout.  If you own a food truck, please contact Tampa Bay Food Truck Rally at 813-464-5600. We are always eager to add to our wonderful events!

How do I become an entertainer at First Friday?

The Downtown Lakeland Partnership is always looking for talent to add to our entertainment mix. Our goal is to provide a pleasant atmosphere that encourages folks to come Downtown and enjoy the many fine restaurants and shops. Our preference is acoustic style musicians who can create ambiance for a small area so we can have many entertainers throughout Downtown without having interference between them. We prefer to hear a sample of your work. Please email us your information to so we may contact you.
