Our next First Friday event will take place on February 7, 2025 from 6pm to 9pm in Downtown Lakeland. The theme is Romancing the Arts sponsored by The RP Funding Center.
The RP Funding Center is proud to sponsor Lakeland’s First Friday in the month of February. We are our city’s source for hosting performances, conventions and all the community involving events that have created cherished memories and enriched the lives for generations. Beyond entertainment, the RP Funding Center has been a powerful engine of economic growth, driving tourism, supporting local businesses, and creating jobs.
Let us come together in the month where Love is celebrated, to bring focus to the Arts and Culture through the talent of our Lakeland community as RP Funding Center presents “Romancing the Arts”.
Downtown shops and restaurants will be open late. Don’t miss the Makers Market, featuring local artists and creators, on North Kentucky Avenue, Food Trucks on Pine St., and the Classy Car Show on Tennessee Ave. Streets are closed to vehicles, so come prepared to walk about!
First Friday is a family-friendly event held in the streets of Downtown Lakeland between Lemon Street and Oak Street along Kentucky and Tennessee Avenues. On-street parking begins to close in the event area at 3pm to allow us to clear the streets and set up the exhibitors and vendors. Parking in all permitted and metered locations is free after 5pm and all day on the weekends. Event parking is limited, so please carpool with friends and neighbors!
