Tasty Tuesdays are a super fun way to experience multiple Downtown restaurants all in one night! You get hearty sample sizes with each ticket, and move from place to place at your own pace!
Tastings begin at 4:30pm and end at 9pm. Here’s how it works:
Purchase your ticket package from LDDA. Tickets come in packets of 10 for $25. (additional packs may be purchased in increments of $5 which is 2 tickets). Share your package with a friend or save your unused tickets for next time!
• In advance in person from our Downtown Lakeland office located at 117 N. Kentucky Ave. via cash or credit – Office hours are 10am to 5pm MTW & F.
• Purchase online
• Pick up your tickets anytime in advance of the event from the LDDA office located at 117 N. Kentucky Ave. Office hours are 10am to 5pm MTW & F or the night of the event by 7pm.
• Purchase the night of the event until 7pm from the LDDA office located at 117 N. Kentucky Ave.
In addition to the physical tickets to use to receive your tastes, you’ll receive a map of participating businesses and their locations.
This is a self guided, tasting event. Go in your own order and at your own pace. You can use more than one ticket at any location if you choose.
(Offerings below are from the November event and are subject to change. Please check back the day before the event for the final list for December. Patrons receive a printed list with tickets.)
DISSENT Craft Brewing Company – 5oz sample of one of our 12 craft brews on draft
CRISPERS – Pick a pair (2 tickets required) or pick just one (for one ticket)! Choose from their delight or club sandwiches and their summer or southwest salads. (Vegetarian options) CLOSES AT 8PM
Jimmy Johns – 1/3 Beefy Black & Bleu
PITA PIT –1/2 of our small pitas or 1/3 of our rice bowls. Pick any off of the menu. (Beyond Meat available as well as a veggie options)
MAYDAY ICE CREAM – a kid’s scoop of any ice cream flavor in a cup
SWAN BREWING – any (1) taster of Swan Beer (beers made in house) or cider (must be 21 or older for this taste)
CAKE MAKERS STUDIO – choose your sample from an choice of assorted pastries. CLOSES AT 8PM
TACO BUS – Offering a single Taco and a churro ( steak, chicken or portobello mushroom as a vegetarian option)
REC ROOM – 3 choices to choose from!! A 5 oz portion of our frozen drink (Squishe’) OR Get a “taste” of the action with $2.50 worth of tokens
MOJO FEDERAL SWINE & SPIRITS – two slow-smoked pork sliders
TERIYAKI MADNESS – Taste of Orange Chicken tossed in sweet orange sauce OR mad spicy chicken – HOT HOT HOT – Try it if you dare! OR hand-cut stir-fried in our house made teriyaki stirfry
TSUMANI SUSHI & HIBACHI –“crispy tuna appetizer” in a single bite size portion: fresh ahi tuna, crispy fried rice, masago, spices, and seasoning, mix them all together and top it with our homemade house white sauce- served with cucumber chips.
FEDERAL BAR – Single taco – choose seasoned beef or slow roasted chicken topped with housemade pico de gallo, shredded cheese, and fresh cilantro OR chips and salsa. Enjoy either or both with $5 margarita or sangria.
