First Friday: Dancing Through The Decades

Put on your dancing shoes and join us for First Friday: Dancing Through the Decades on Friday, August 7, from 6–9 PM in Downtown Lakeland!

This month’s event brings the party to Munn Park, where DJ Willie will be spinning dance music from the birth of rock and roll all the way through today’s hits. From sock hop classics to disco, pop, hip-hop, boy bands, dance floor favorites, and everything in between, we’re turning Downtown Lakeland into one big timeline of music and movement.

Enjoy an evening of shopping, dining, live entertainment, family-friendly fun, Classy Car Show and more things for you to discover! Downtown shops and restaurants will be open late, so come early, stay late, and make a night of it.

Whether you’re a jitterbug champion, disco survivor, moonwalk enthusiast, or someone who mostly dances from the shoulders up, this First Friday is for you.
