Shop Small Saturday

One of the biggest, if not THE biggest, shopping days of the year for local retailers is SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY. This is the day reserved for us all to support our small local businesses instead of shopping at BIG BOX retail or online retailers whose profits end up in the pockets of shareholders far far away. The small businesses here in Downtown Lakeland are owned and operated by your neighbors. Folks you may run into at the grocery store! Often you’ll find them behind their retail counters serving you directly. So support local!! Plus, the Farmers Curb Market is also filled with small businesses who need your support!
We know you can’t find EVERYTHING you need in Downtown Lakeland. But we do have gifts for all ages and genders, so you could find at least one thing for everyone on your list!
To sweeten the pot, we want to reward you for shopping! You can participate in our SHOP TEXT WIN- Holiday Edition. Beginning Saturday, November 27 through Christmas Eve, (including FESTIVE FRIDAYS and FIRST FRIDAY) you can text a copy of your receipts to 863.225.0807. For every $10 you spend with a downtown retailer or market vendor, you’ll receive one entry into the weekly SHOP TEXT WIN drawing for a $25 Downtown Lakeland Gift card.
