SPECIAL EVENT WITH MISS FLORIDA AT TASTY TUSDAY!
Downtown Lakeland, The Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce and the Miss Florida Scholarship Competition have teamed up to bring a fun activity to Tasty Tuesday in June.
Miss Florida Scholarship Competition and Miss Florida’s Teen Competition will take place on June 21-24 at Youkey Theater – RP Funding Center. To promote the event and to provide the 50+ delegates the opportunity to meet and mingle with the public, retail and restaurants in Downtown will host the delegates in their businesses during Tasty Tuesday.
HOW THE MISS FORIDA MEET AND GREET WORKS:
• Tasty Tuesday customers will receive a MISS FLORIDA BINGO CARD with each pack of $10 tickets purchased for Tasty Tuesday. (117 N. Kentucky Ave – LDDA office until 7pm)
• The BINGO card will include a map of the delegates’ locations at retail and restaurants. The BINGO card will include facts about the delegates. Find the fact about each delegate as you meet them in the locations.
• Turn your completed BINGO card in Munn Park at the Ice Cream Social (8-9pm) for a chance to win prizes. Must be present to win. Prizes drawn at 8:45pm.
WHAT IS TASTY TUESDAY?
Tasty Tuesdays are a super fun way to experience multiple Downtown restaurants all in one night! You get hearty sample sizes with each ticket and move from place to place at your own pace! Tastings begin at 4:30pm and end at 9pm.
Enjoy live music in Munn Park from 5:30-8:30pm.

Here’s how it works:
Purchase your ticket package from LDDA. Tickets come in packets of 10 for $25. (Additional packs may be purchased in increments of $5 which is 2 tickets). Share your package with a friend or save your unused tickets for next time!
• In advance or in person from our Downtown Lakeland office located at 117 N. Kentucky Ave. via cash or credit – Office hours are 10am to 5pm MTW & F.
• Purchase online
• Pick up your tickets anytime in advance of the event from the LDDA office located at 117 N. Kentucky Ave. Office hours are 10am to 5pm MTW & F or the night of the event by 7pm.
• Purchase the night of the event until 7pm from the LDDA office located at 117 N. Kentucky Ave.
In addition to the physical tickets to use to receive your tastes, you’ll receive a map of participating businesses and their locations.
This is a self guided, tasting event happening the third Tuesday of every month. Go in your own order and at your own pace. You can use more than one ticket at any location if you choose. This is a fun event. Why not make it Date Night, Friends Night Out or just come have some fun.
We also now have Live Music in Munn park from 5:30- 8:30pm. So come on down and sit at the provided tables and chairs and enjoy your samples and listen/dance the night away.
