Lakeland Christmas Parade
Downtown Lakeland 117 N Kentucky Ave, Lakeland, FL, United StatesHosted by The Junior League of Greater Lakeland and the City of Lakeland, the Lakeland Christmas Parade is held annually on the first Thursday in December.
Recognized as one of Lakeland’s largest annual events, parade participants step off from the RP Funding Center to begin their 1.25-mile course winding through the city’s streets, around Lake Mirror and back down Lemon Street. Parade participants deck out their floats to reflect each year’s theme, which in past year’s has included “The Giving City” and “A Storybook Christmas.”

First Friday Hometown Holiday
Downtown Lakeland 117 N Kentucky Ave, Lakeland, FL, United StatesFirst Friday is a family-friendly event held in the streets of Downtown Lakeland between Lemon Street and Oak Street along Kentucky and Tennessee Avenues. On-street parking begins to close in the event area at 3pm to allow us to clear the streets and set up the exhibitors and vendors. Parking in all permitted and metered locations is free after 5pm and all day on the weekends. Event parking is limited, so please carpool with friends and neighbors! We also offer free valet on the corner of Lemon St. and Tennessee Ave. on First Fridays.
