Market FAQ
Does the Market close when it rains?
No. Most farmers still set up in the rain, though many artisan vendors stay home.
What if severe weather threatens the Market?
The Market team watches the weather and will make an announcement if needed. Take shelter if a storm comes in.
Is the Market open on holidays?
It’s closed when Christmas or New Year’s Day falls on a Saturday. July 4th depends on how many vendors sign up; watch here or on Facebook.
How do I know which vendors will be there?
The weekly Market email has that week’s vendor map and specials (sign up at the top of this page). Plans can change at the last minute, so if you’re coming for one vendor, check with them first.
How many vendors come each Saturday?
About 125 to 150 on a typical Saturday, depending on the weather and the season.
Can I pay with a card or SNAP/EBT?
Many vendors take cards, and there are ATMs a short walk away.
Bring your SNAP/EBT card to the LDDA Market Tent for tokens you spend like cash. Tokens don’t expire, but vendors can’t give change for them. Fresh Access Bucks are paused.
Do vendors collect sales tax?
Each vendor handles their own: some include it in their prices, others add it when you pay.
Is there a lost and found?
Yes, at the LDDA Market Tent.
Can I smoke at the Market?
Please step outside the Market to smoke.
How is the Market paid for?
The LDDA runs it, and it pays for itself.
