Explore fourteen of Downtown Lakeland’s retail stores with an End of Summer Scavenger Hunt! Play Tuesday-Friday, 12-5pm, or Saturdays, 10am-4pm, between August 25 and September 23. Pick up your game card and receive your first clue at 117 N. Kentucky Ave. (the location of the Lakeland Downtown Development Authority office).
Here’s how it works:
- Use the clues provided to navigate to the correct retail stores. Look for the swan-shaped game pieces (with the QR Codes printed on them) in each store to receive the next clue.
- As you go, fill in the crossword puzzle on your game sheet.
- Turn in your completed puzzle to the LDDA office when you are done for your first chance to win. OR turn your completed puzzle into the Market Info tent on Saturdays between 8am and 2pm (beginning September 2) and receive $5 in Market Bucks just for playing!
- Unscramble the letters from the crossword puzzle to find a two-word phrase for a second chance to win via text message.
- On September 26, two winners (one from the completed game cards, one from the text message entrants) will be chosen to receive $100 worth of Downtown Gift Cards.
