Downtown Lakeland is excited to bring Friday Night Live back as a monthly Spring live music series in Munn Park beginning at 6pm. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and grab a TO GO dinner and adult beverage from a Downtown Business! This event has a state liquor license, so you can leave a bar or restaurant with a TO GO drink to enjoy in Munn Park while you listen to the band. We are also super excited to build a limited vendor list for this event. (Vendor participation by invitation only. Applications not being accepted.)
The Big Chill Band is a local band, consisting of Seven pieces, including a horn section. The big chill band has been in existence for four years, Serving Polk county and the surrounding area. A high energy band, With each member having over four decades in the music business. The band plays a wide variety of genres including Motown, classic rock, funk and 70s. The big chill band has a lot of personality and definitely gets the crowd up and dancing all night long. all members of the band not only Are amazing musicians, but they are all top level vocalists as well. The big chill band is available for private parties, weddings, fundraisers and outdoor events as well.
