First Friday: Foodie Fest

Downtown Lakeland is about to smell amazing. It’s Foodie Fest First Friday, March 6 from 6p – 9p.

For this special Foodie Fest First Friday, several of our Downtown merchants and Catapult members are stepping out from behind their counters and bringing their flavors straight to the street. From savory bites to sweet treats and refreshing drinks, this is your chance to sample a little bit of everything our local food scene has to offer.

Come hungry… seriously!

Here’s just a taste of what you’ll find:

🌮 Cake Makers Studio – Serving up Mini Tacos that pack big flavor into small bites.

🥪 Jimmy John’s – Bringing their legendary Vito Sandwich, stacked with salami, capicola, provolone, and fresh toppings.

🍚 Teriyaki Madness – Choose between their popular TMad Chicken Teriyaki Bowl or kick things up with the Spicy Chicken Bowl.

🌺 Nineteen61 – Refresh with a bright and floral Hibiscus Tea with Fresh Mint.

🍔 The Chop Shop – A little bit of everything: burgers, pretzels, key lime pie, and strawberry lemonade.

🍓 Terrace Grille – Handing out fresh Strawberry Skewers and Caprese Skewers.

🫐 Northern Sky Coffee – Amazing Lemon Blueberry Muffins.

🥟 From My Kitchen – Comfort food classics including Brisket Pierogies, Potato & Cheese Pierogies, and hearty Hunter Stew.

🍹 El Gallo Tejano – Cool off with 2oz Agua Fresca samples, featuring refreshing Hibiscus flavor.

🍄 Lions Mane Mushrooms – Stop by for free samples and discover something a little different.

Foodie Fest is all about celebrating the incredible variety of flavors right here in Downtown Lakeland. Whether you’re craving something sweet, savory, refreshing, or totally new, there will be something here worth tasting.

Bring your appetite and explore the best bites our local businesses have to offer.

Downtown shops and restaurants will be open late. Don’t miss the Makers Market, featuring local artists and creators, on North Kentucky Avenue, Food Trucks on Pine St., and the Classy Car Show on Tennessee Ave. Streets are closed to vehicles, so come prepared to walk about!

First Friday is a family-friendly event held in the streets of Downtown Lakeland between Lemon Street and Oak Street along Kentucky and Tennessee Avenues. On-street parking begins to close in the event area at 3pm to allow us to clear the streets and set up the exhibitors and vendors. Parking in all permitted and metered locations is free after 5pm and all day on the weekends. Event parking is limited, so please carpool with friends and neighbors!

Once space is full, applications close and don’t reopen until the Monday after First Friday for the next event.
